  • ENNEAGRAM LEARNING GROUPS

    Enneagram Typology Learning Groups

WHAT: Twice a month, therapeutic Enneagram study pod.

    WHERE: Video conferencing platform ZOOM

    WHEN: TBD

WHY SMALL STUDY PODS TO LEARN THE ENNEAGRAM?

This small study group is designed for discovering and continuing your learning around the powerful and rich Enneagram typology system of personality. This is an opportunity for students of the Enneagram to be a part of an ongoing support group and intimate community dedicated to deepening your awareness of the Enneagram. The primary focus will be on putting the Enneagram to work in your life and relationships. There will be some didactic teaching, however the emphasis will be on practical application and transformation.

It is my experience that regular meetings in a small, intimate group provide a unique opportunity for learning, personal sharing, and giving support in applying the Enneagram to personal development and relationships. The Enneagram is obvious and most present when in community and connection with others. Community learning often enriches the experience because it allows us to grow in interpersonal awareness as well as self-awareness. My goal is to create a safe space to do the powerful and tremendous work of transforming your life. All groups will be limited to 6 participants.

WHAT WILL THE ENNEAGRAM STUDY GROUP COVER?

The overall aim of this experiential study group will involve the following: (1) cultivating self-awareness, (2) practicing self-observation, and (3) developing transformational habits to enhance your life.

We’ll explore topics ranging from themes such as essence versus personality/defensive structure, the triadic self, our energy bodies and the influence of the Enneagram, Hornevian groups emergence (strategies each type employes to get its needs met), instincts, and relationships, typological coping techniques (how each type defends against loss and disappointment), dynamics and variations, along with additional therapeutic experiences with somatic body work, body and breath practices, chakra energy work, etc.

    Requirements:

    • Basic familiarity with the Enneagram system and verified type.
    • You want to connect with and learn from others who are on a similar path of learning and exploration.
    • You want to increase connection and build a personal support network of other Enneagram enthusiasts.
    • You are able to practice centering and self-awareness.
    • You can commit to attending most of the meeting dates.
    • You have internet access and video camera (in computer or attached)

    .

HOW DO I FIND OUT MY VERIFIED ENNEAGRAM TYPE?

Although there are many organizations and individuals that claim they have developed a reliable and trustworthy tool for discovering true Enneagram types, research does not support the reliability of any written or computer assessment for accurately identifying Enneagram types – nor do most of these assessments consider the influence of one’s Myers-Briggs Type on the outcome of their Enneagram responses. Because this tool is an ancient, mystical tool that has been traced back to the Sufis and Mystics, type is best understood and determined through socratic dialogue and verification practices.

Online Enneagram tests can be a useful beginning point with which to get started familiarizing yourself with the power of the Enneagram, but to accurately determine your verified Enneagram type, the best way is to schedule a Discovery Session with Kate Schroeder. A Discovery Session includes a Clinical Typing Interview, Overview of Your Type, Coaching Tips, and a PDF downloadable workbook based upon your Verified Enneagram Type.  Schedule your discovery session with Kate Schroeder, M.Ed., LPC, NCC.

    .

    HOW DO I ENROLL?

Contact Kate to have a short conversation about how to get started in your small Enneagram study pod experience.

The program will include ten group sessions over a period of five months and groups will be limited to 6 members per group. Group members will be required to contract for the complete 5-month program, after which they can re-enroll if they would like to.
